Currently, Neve’s favorite projects to work on are music videos, and his greatest inspirations range from Salomon Ligthelm to Petra Collins. In terms of music, he expresses that XXXTentacion will go down as one of his all-time favorites. When it came to personal inspirations he expressed his motives. “I feel like missing out on things that I wish I was a part of, helped me envision all these crazy situations.” Those experiences ultimately sparked an even deeper inspiration for his work. In fact, he mentions that one of his recent projects,'Falling In Love' exhibits depictions of friendships and relationships he always wished he’d had. Anyone who watches for themselves might find that he showed it quite well, if we do say so ourselves.

Of course every passion comes with its challenges and Neve admits that one of his greatest hardships is handling logistics. He expressed the importance of resilience and how to battle unfortunate circumstances."If something goes the complete opposite of what it was supposed to, I try to pivot and bounce back from that.” Luckily, he has not allowed his challenges to overcome him, and asserts that, "keeping a positive attitude helps with that.” Furthermore, he emphasizes a partner of his , Justin Lewis, who helps with that. He expressed gratitude for him in his life.
His advice to others? “Don’t get caught up on the little things - there’s a difference between being able to focus on the small details, which I think is very valuable, versus getting in your own way.” He explains that a lot of people create roadblocks for themselves."That’s the kind of thing that holds you back as a creative," he states. Additionally, he recognizes that a lot of the time, people make excuses for themselves based on the circumstances, and his response was “there’s always a way to make something good.”

As he aspires to funnel his interests into directing, and creative direction for other artists, Not A Phase will be tuning in to see the things he creates, and we think all of you should as well.
